Yes, it is. And I apologize in advance for starting another one. I search every single post on this site I found looking for an answer to my question and couldn't find it.
Basically I have a 2014 Limited with the factory remote start. A couple weeks ago I used it for the first time to let the engine warm up a little before leaving for work (dont get me started how much I hate how things shut off when you unlock the car) and it worked well. Then a few days later I used it again to warm up and when I went out, I was surprised that the rear and front defrosters were on and my windows were clear. I tried the remote start a few more times and the defrosters never turned on automatically till this morning.
So my question is this. Is there a feature with the factory remote starter that will turn on the defrosters when the temps are below a certain range? This morning when I used the remote starte, it was 39 degress outside.
I've looked in the books and all they say is that the defrosters may or may not turn on, which isn't an answer to me.
