I would say either diff/cv issues or check your LCA bushings. If they are gone then the LCA could swing front to back when it gets torque applied to it.

so to give you guys an answer to this issue, it was not a CV(although i do have two brand new ones now thanks to the lifetime warranty of the napa ones), and its not the Tcase or diff. what i have found to be my issue after talking more with my father inlaw and a parts guy at the local dealership here in vancouver, is that my support bearing in the ADD tube(out at the end of the tube) is bad. it is because i apparently ran my front diff too low on gear oil... after changing out a few CV(broke them on wheeling trips and searches) i lost enough gear oil that i ran things too dry and ate up my support bearing. -when i noticed i wasnt losing anymore gear oil when i was swapping CVs i just thought i was getting really good at it:bravo:.... nope just being a dub-ass:doh:

So I was wrong in my above post. To those of you who said 3rd member you are right. I had two different gear ratios, 4.10 up front and 4.30 in the rear - had to change out the rear because of a blown ring and pinion.... long story. Anyhow I didn't count teeth, and so yeah. 4.10 and 4.30 are close enough they "can be" use together, by do not expect good results. I'm surprised and lucky I did not break anything. I put a 4.10 back in last night and my problems are gone, my 4wd works great, no pulls, no resistance, no weird growling... I feel so dumb and yet so happy to have my 4wd 100% again
