NOVA Peeps

4th gen 4runner owner here. I live in Aldie, VA right across from John Champe High School. I have seen two 4runners in my neighborhood, both with some work done. A grey 4th gen with wheels, tires, maybe a small lift and a grey 5th gen trail with a t4r decal, bfg at, roof rack, etc.

Do you still live in Aldie? I'm right down the street from John Campe. I have a 5th gen white trail.

Yeah, thanks for asking. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Where are you located in NOVA?

Was in Aldie (the grey T4R mentioned above) but, moved over to Ashburn. I love my Gobi, and get asked about it every now and then.

Hey guys,

Anyone have a TRD Pro or are running the wheels (or the copies)? I’m in DC/Nova and am interested in test fitting them on my FJ62 Land Cruiser. There’d be a car of beer involved :hungry:

New owner here in Reston. 18 sr5. Building slowly, looking for easy beginner trails until the lift goes on later this year. Put wheels & tires on this far. Really like the KO2s

The local Toyota clubs are the CLCC (Capital Land Cruiser Club/IH8Mud); and the HiLux Surf Club from MD, just across the bridge.

Fire roads around Flag Pole Knob/Harrisonburg are stock friendly.

4th Gen rear bumper with amazing tire gate

Hi all. Me and a friend are fabing up a bumper for my 4th gen. We are going to solve the notorious ugly 4th gen high side problem. To fund this little venture we would like to make a few and sell them. I suspect a build your own Kit wold cost $800 and a ready to install bumper would be about twice that. Not a lot of savings compared to the national manufacturers only about $200. But you will save another $200 in shipping and can see the installed bumper on my 4Runner in person first. Reply if you are interested and we will keep you updated.

Checking in From City of Fairfax. looking for kid friendly wheeling to do.
My wife and I like to take our fours kids with us camping and wheeling down at george washington national forest and bald mountain jeep trail. Both within about two hours or so of Fairfax. We also take them many other places those are just a few places close by that we go to for just a fun weekend trip with some decent wheeling!
