O/T "Getting pointless notifications"

Hi team,

Recently I've been getting a notification each time I post with a "Mention" (@joe_Rockhead), or a "QUOTE" e.g...

RalphKramdon said... "Baby, you're the GREATEST"!

The notification will read the same way it reads when someone MENTION's or QUOTE's you but instead will read: "rigtec" has mentioned "john doe" in the thread: "john doe has FAR TOO MUCH sugar in his tank".

AFAIK this just started happening this week. I checked our 'User CP' to see if there are settings to manage this but N/G. Does anyone know how to change this setting; really don't need to be notified if I quote someone else!

PS: or perhaps this is an [MENTION=5653]admin[/MENTION] issue?!

[MENTION=83083]rigtec[/MENTION] I also get notifications. Maybe in the phone settings? I think they're annoying as well but I forget they're on until they go off at zero dark thirty.

Hi 4RnR Grl,

My 'Notification issues' are coming up here on the forum website in the "Welcome box"; upper RH side where you receive your 'Private Messages'. I haven't used my android for posting here in a while. I'm guessing the problem must be somewhere in the 'User CP' notification settings. I'll have to check that again since the "Administrator" said that they've made no changes to the site parameters.
