OBD II readers with bluetooth

Anyone use a wifi adapter instead of bluetooth? I use my phone to connect to my stereo via bluetooth and I'm concerned about not being able to use both simultaneously. If the WiFi OBD adapters work the same way, it seems like a perfect work around.

Did you ever find an aswer to this? Looking to get an OBDII scanner and I'm wondering the same thing.

I was told that you can use multiple Bluetooth peripherals with one device simultaneously. I ended up getting a deal on a scangauge.
