Occasional alarm when shifting into Park

It's pretty random but I occasionally get an interior alarm when I shift into park... Happened this morning when I got to work.... When it comes on it's a constant and high pitched (as opposed to the 4Lo when not in neutral which is lower pitch and pulses).... No codes or other problem indications displayed.... When it came on this morning I shifted back into neutral (alarm stopped) and then shifted back to park and it didn't come back on so it looks like is triggered by something intermittent....

Anyone have an idea what is causing this? :noidea:

When I bled the brakes yesterday I got that same alarm you're describing. Take what you want from that information, maybe a problem with the brakes?

Thanks! Will check it out.... The strange thing for me is that there were no indicator lights.... Very strange to me that there would be an alarm in my truck without some indication of what it was for.... Was it the same when you got it bleeding your brakes?

I was doing the bleeding and my friend in the truck said the VSC lights came on. I imagine the ABS light came on also but I didn't see.

That is the weird thing.... I didn't have any lights come on at all.... Will give the brakes a look.... I replaced all my calipers/rotors/pads a couple of months ago so it may be related to the work I did....:redbrick:

The noise happened while I was bleeding the rear passenger side so I imagine it was related to the fluid level dropping. Might be good to start there and check your fluid level. If you find out what it is post back, that's strange.

Ok, just got back from checking it in the lot over lunch..... Plenty of brake fluid in the reservoir... Looks like it's not that unless I have a sensor going south....
