What a great turnout that was! Thanks to everyone for coming and thanks TheSentinel for organizing and taking the initiative to get some meets started. Ya when I was nearly home i could tell it was pouring up there, kinda wish i had run 4s21 with brian. Looking forward to the next run(s).

This video is from going up that steep as hill right when it started to down pour. Don't mind us making fun of your unique exhaust sound because of your smashed tail pipe. The hill doesn't look so bad in the video but it was pretty steep and there was a massive rock to get around at the end.

I had fun getting my feet wet with 4wd runs and the girls had a blast too. I can't wait to get my lift on in preparation for the next run I go on. Nice meeting everyone!

No worries, I think I saw you keep going after I turned at Pine Cove Rd. It was for the best though, your gals may not have enjoyed the ride down. From the downpour to the rutting, very bouncy ride down.

It's basically off line maps. If you know the general area that the trail is in and the forest road name, then you should be able to find it on the maps. You have to zoom in pretty close to get the names. I meant to trace our trail yesterday but totally forgot to start it.
I'm really pissed off. My dash cam that recorded the whole run and that had a bunch of awesome shots of us going up the black diamond, crashed and the memory card is now corrupt. Would have been so frickin sweet to see our rigs bouncing up that trail in the rain. This price of shit is going back to Best Buy.

Bummed I missed the second half. It looks awesome from the videos. My kind of wheelin' too. Half way home my folks called me to say they had changed there plans and they could watch my kids longer. I could have stayed!!!! Oh well. Still nice to meet and see some cool 4runners and put faces with names.

Were working on it, think we need a leader familiar with big bear to get some good ideas of where to go

Exactly, I'm thinking a Clark's Grade run, with a difficult split off...maybe John Bull afterward? That will allow the greatest participation. Who wouldn't want to go to Big Bear? I hear there's gold in them thar hills.
