It's pretty mellow, not saying people don't get drunk but I wouldn't hesitate to bring my kids if I couldn't find a sitter. that said the biggest issue you could face is keeping the little ones warm if the weather is cool.

Not gonna make, again, this year. Will be headed to a little place in the Pacific Ocean to visit a cranky chubby little man that likes to fire missiles and talk shit to the U.S. Appalachian Rendevous and Overland expo east will be my last event for a couple months.

Ok kids.... we are just over a month out.... I need to follow up on the rest of this thread to see if I need to add any to the list. In the meantime....
Gaia has provided us with a 3 month Gaia GPS premium trial code for the T4R camping trip. This is due to the work [MENTION=137555]Sleeter[/MENTION] has put in with them (so thank him!)
Below are the instructions, (for IOS devices).*I believe the link also works with Android.
To install the app on an iOS device, please follow these instructions:
1. Sign up for a free account on the Gaia GPS website or sign in if you already have one.
2. Follow this link for a free 3 month Premium Membership:*www.gaiagps.com/premium/?PROMO=OBO
3. Install the*free app in the Apple App Store (gold border logo).
4. Log in to your account from the Settings Menu in the app to activate the membership.

Having never used GAIA GPS, which format do I select within the app to download? I see GPX, KML and GeoJSON.

If you have a Gaia account you can sign in and add it to your account and it will sync with your device automatically or you can do it the hard way.

I just tried a different way than in their instructions.
If I click the link you posted from my phone it takes me to the GAIAGPS website for the data link.
If I click on the top left drop down for the download and select GPX, it takes me to the file with options to open it in "Topo Maps" (another app that I have) or "More...".
If I click "More..." there is an option to Copy to Gaia GPS.
Then if I open the Gaia GPS app and click the "Saved" folder icon second from the right at the bottom of the app screen, the tracks from the link you posted shows up. :thumb:
What day is the "Gaia GPS for Dummies" class at the Cove? :first:
