odd lights on dash after jumping battery?

I left the back up light on last night and ran the battery dead. I got a jump this morning but when it started some lights were on and did not go out?

Check engine, VSC TRAC and one other I can't remember. The bright side - with all that tractions stuff off I did my 1st burnout - I was pissed and still am. Any ideas why a dead battery would effect the traction control stuff? Wonder if it could be a fuse?

Had to come into work so will not get a chance to mess with it till lunch?

It's probably due to the dead battery situation. It should reset itself once the battery has charged enough to be above the threshold that triggered the lights. Did it get low enough to lose the settings on the radio or your drivers auto window, moonroof and rear window settings? You can even set off those lights by leaving your gas cap off or too loose!

:iagree: but if you dont want to wait to see if it adjusts itself, first try just resetting the ecu. ive had my battery out a few times, & thats all it took.

Chaz - you got it. Un hooked the battery for about 5 min and that did the trick. I have run the battery down a few other times and never had this happen before? Thanks for the help.

Very odd - Other than being worried about breaking my truck I liked not having all the VSC got off when I got on the gas. There must be a way to switch it on and off for some burnout fun. I also noticed the open diff when I got on it.
