OEM 20" Limited wheels hold up well to corrosion ?

I have a set of new 20" OEM wheels on the way to me. I am wondering if anyone has had corrosion issues with the OEM wheel ?

There are many Highlander/Camry and Venza owners who face issues around the center cap (me included).

I did search (site:toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/ corrosion) but there is no mention of it so I am hoping they hold up well to Midwest winters ?

Are you going to run separate winter rubbers? If so, get a set of steelies and they'll pay for themself in a couple of seasons. Even if you pay a shop to swap your tires for you, having a dedicated set of winter rims will save you over $100 per year.

My 4Runner sat on the lot from the fall until March and had 150 miles on it when I bought it new in 2013. I haven't run the 20s through a winter but they have seen a little bit of salt. Nothing that I can speak of so far.

That is what i am trying to decide. I have the OEM SR5 rims that I could run a dedicated winter tire. The wheels look like new so I know those hold up OK.

I prefer to use the 20" wheel and Pirelli Scorpion ATRs all year round but if the wheels dont hold up I wont. I already store 8 tire/wheel combinations now for 2 other vehichles so space is an issue.
