OEM Look USB Replacement for Factory Cigarette Lighter Outlet?

Yes, I searched here and on google. Didn't really see what I am after. I am installing a JVC radio in our 2010 SR5 and it seems to work best when plugged directly into a phone via the radio's rear exiting USB cable. I would like to replace the factory cig lighter outlet below the a/c controls with a SINGLE USB connector/bulkhead style fitting that fits well in the dash. I don't want a dual USB as I don't know if I can split the radio's input cable and don't want to leave one dead spot. Hopefully that makes sense, location is next to AUX input near small pocket in front of the shifter.

I would like something similar to the product below but I don't know if this will swap out without having to make a custom panel to adapt. Thanks for any direction.

I haven't done this in a 4Runner but I did it in my old car. Used that same outlet (or similar; probably from the same factory overseas)

I had to use a utility knife to cut away a small amount of plastic material once I'd removed all of the cig lighter metal bits and pieces, but it wasn't much. Stuck that in there, threaded on the nut on the back, and all was awesome.

So yes, that'll fit nearly perfect but you may have to trim a tiny bit. The amount I had to trim was probably less than 1/16th all the way around. But again that was on a different car, 4Runner could fit fine once the innards of the cig lighter are removed

Thank you, that could be another option. Clean look. I think the head unit has aux input as well I could use the extra connector for. The guy at Frys said to use USB 3.0 with the setup I am planning on (Maestro RR for steering wheel controls) but the JVC head unit is only USB 2.0 so I doubt it matters. I think most things these days are at least USB 2.0.

I'm using the Maestro RR as well. I'm also using Android Auto (wired) and haven't had any issues and the phone charges fine (no slow charging messages).

I can't even get my new JVC head unit to turn on. Last night I had the cheap eBay head unit working just fine aside from steering wheel controls, I don't get it. The Maestro flashes red when I plug everything in and turn on the ignition to run. I have the firmware correct for the vehicle and the head unit. The ignition wire from the harness is only getting 8 volts though. May not be enough to turn on the head unit but it's probably a Maestro to head unit issue. I have the data and audio cables connected to the Maestro as per the wiring diagram.
