OEM Toyota dash cam

I've got two as well, love this product and the software they have is quite intuitive. These units also accommodate 64gb memory cards. The one up front sits nicely to the right of the rear view mirror (power cable is easily hidden though all the trim to get to your console - numerous posts here on how to do that). And consequently the one in the rear I mounted with tips from the forum as well, I have tint on top of factory tint and I still get a good image at night out back, these units have very good compensation characteristics when looking at headlights, obviously in other conditions there is no problem other than when I forget to keep the rear window clean in winter !

In case you're interested on how the A119s looks mounted. I don't like the sticker on the windshield, so I have a rear view mount instead. This allows me to center the camera perfectly and also give me better access and viewing angle to the unit versus mounting to windshield. I also don't want to hard wire the unit yet, so I have the wire routed through the passenger side pillar, under the glove box, following the transmission case and into the center console lighter port. The supplied usb cable is just the right length for the routing.

The center console port isn't an "always on" port so the cam will turn on and off each time the car is started. Not really interested in parking mode. Just want it on while driving to show fault in case of an accident.

I like the size of the unit as well, has a pretty small footprint. Take a look at the "front view" pic for reference.

I put one on the windscreen of my motorcycle. It worked great at first, with good quality and GPS/Speed overlays on the video, but I guess it didn't like the vibes after a while LOL.

I would buy one again for a vehicle.
 
Some of these cameras come with lane departure warnings. What if you intend on changing lanes does it still alert you? I've been looking into the Garmin 65W as so much of my tri stuff already is. Works well and seems to last. Has anyone had any experience otherwise?
 
450 CAD..lol no way. Get the Viofo 119 for about 120 CAD. Great vid quality and sound. Used it on a 6000 km road trip and captured all kinds of weirdness.

Ok thanks for your opinion, this is the first I have heard this. I was under the understanding the sensor was better. I'm still researching all these things, I mean it's almost overwhelming.

NEVERMIND! it takes awhile to download. the first one i downloaded was fast but now it takes about 10 minutes now.
