what do I do about the 3rd prong? labeled number 4?

The aftermarket needs to do better with Toyota switches. If OEM Toyota switches are Legos, then those OTRATTW switches are Lego Duplo.

FWIW, I'm doing a thing that will offer a multitude of functionality. Arduino controlled switches. Basically, you can use a mirror switch and get an effective 8 different outputs, and that's before you take into account short and long presses of the button.

i found that two switches horizontal fit nicely in the square cutout. No real good way to secure them but i used some hot-glue and theyve held for about a yr now. No cutting or trimming required so its a good workaround until i can afford a nice bank of these: OTRATTW

My setup is because I changed my interior from my 98 to a 99, to have a newer look [emoji102] and because the 98 interior wuz all beat up. I installed a fog light switch and a west marine cig plug for my ARB temp gauge. The up/down switch is not working cuz I got it wired to the factory 99 console

My stalk switch is being used for my light bar.

Last is my rear heat switch being used to turn on my rear Prius camera. The other switch is just there, but not working.
