2015 trail edition wheels with 255/80/17 km2's for rubber. Has anyone powdercoated, or painted these wheels yet? I've been debating doing a black powdercoat. [emoji16]

There are some 5th gen guys who have powder coated them black.

I was hoping there may be a 3rd gener that had some with a change of color so that it would be a more direct visual reference. However, checking out the 5th gen guys isn't a bad suggestion either. Thanks.

5th gen sr5 wheels are my favorite. Plus I got all 4 of mine free and then got a great deal at work 4 brand new goodyear duratracs for 200$

I've been through a ton of picture threads now and haven't seen them anywhere. I've been offered a set for my 3rd gen in great condition, and seller says they came off a 2005 4th gen 4runner.

from what I can gather, these will sit about 1/2 - 1" further in compared to 3rd gen wheels, unless i fit spacers, correct?

seller isn't sure of offset so just trying to ensure no surprises before committing

I've never seen those before but they might be aftermarkets for a 4th gen. If it's the same offset yes you'll need spacers or your tires will rub on the UCA's. I had 4th gen sport wheels on my 99 & needed spacers.

hands-down the best looking oem or aftermarket wheels I've seen on a 3rd gen. They actually look like Poo on the 4runner they come on.

haha i thought the same thing thats why they are off our 5th gen and i was looking to see what they would look like on the 3rd gen i am looking at picking up.
