OEM turn signal fast clicks

When turning on my passenger side turn signal, a lot of times I get a couple fast clicks (and I assume blinks) and then it goes back to normal. Driver side is normal.

I checked the blinkers and it appears that all are working correctly (they blink). I read that some cars do this to indicate a bad/dead bulb, but mine appear fine at the moment.

Anyone any experience with this?

Swap bulbs from side to side and see if the problem follows the bulb. Sometimes it is hard to see.

Only when I tried dropping in led's without resistors.

Same advice try swapping bulbs.

passenger side fast

I'm seeing a pattern in these blinker posts -- passenger side.

Mine was doing the fast flashing on passenger side (no light outside). Bulb change no help. Saw posts about the switch. Whenever it acted up, I noticed it would begin to flash correctly if I moved the switch to high beams.

Assuming there's some corrosion / buildup, I did this:

Rapidly move the switch between right and center about 20 times.
Repeat in High Beam position
Repeat in High Beam flash-to-pass position

I know it's probably not a "fix" but it's been working fine for 2 months.
