Take some photos and get some measurements.

I had an old existing pair of PIAA Series 40, but the gaskets were history, and the bulbs burned out. The cost of getting the replacement H3 PIAA bulbs, and then using silicone or something to seal them back up, made me decide to get the Hella's.
I figured for the roughly $70, it was hard to go wrong, and they are nice and slim. Didn't realize they were plastic, but so what....they look great, and won't rust or corrode. (I live at the beach)
I've decided to put them up on the bumper, for protection reasons alone. I'll post pics when I get them mounted in the next week or so. Got some nice OEM lighted switches that should fit the unused holes in the dash.

Now look at that beam through the grill in the bumber. I was thinking about making some brackets that would mount to the beam, come out through the grill and hold the lights. They would actually be in front of the bumper, but I think it would look pretty cool. I was thinking about using the Hella 500's since they are slim, so they don't stick way out, but I just haven't bitten the bullet and bought them yet. I would like to try it out before I bought the lights, so it is catch 22.
