Off-roading near Philadelphia

Anybody know of some good places to do some very beginner off roading. Just got an 04 4Runner in the fall and wanted to know if there were any places to do some easy off roading near me in SE PA. It's an all stock Limited 4Runner, so I don't want to forge through any rivers or rock crawl, but I'd like to some mud on the tires!

Welcome to forum. Pine Barrens in NJ has lots of ground for any kind offroading. Look for the threat Pine Barrens Offroad trips, we occasionally go there with bunch of people from VA,MD, NJ, NY, PA and even from MI.

Rausch Creek is probably about 2.5 hours west of you. If you're on facebook (and this goes for everyone in this thread), click the Northeast 4Runners link in my signature and join my group...we set up regular wheeling trips to Rausch plus lift parties and such

I just requested to join the group
I have the same interested as the OP - very new to offroading, essentially stock t4 and looking to take it on some easy trails

Rock Creek, one of the harder trails
