Not much in the pic, but we ended up with 5 inches. Thats pretty good for here this time of year! She handled icy snowy roads beautifully.

Hey man looking good! We had about 5" here in Hendersonville and enjoyed it. We need to go to wheeling at Wooly's or somewhere local sometime soon!

Got about 2" here in NM over the night, that's the most pre-new years snow I've seen in years. Here are some pics of the 4runner in the driveway. I still need to get out and find some 'scenic' spots to take some pics.

4Ripcord,

You lucky dog... We only got rain at my house... there were little patches of snow that stuck, but mostly rain and mud. It was good to finally get some moisture though.

This makes me happy. Heading up Tuesday for a day trip. POW POW POW

Nice! Where are you gonna ride? Come shred northstar! At the summit we got 27" on friday night and 22" since, for a total of 49"!! Crazy pow and all lifts are gonna be open, unlike Squaw, Alpine and Sugar Bowl who will probably be on wind hold!! Come shred the Star!! :bigok:

BigFish,
Yeah it was a nice change, but in true NM fashion, it was mostly gone by the next afternoon. Now we just get regular old boring cold weather with no snow for a few more weeks. Didn't help any ski areas either really. On Saturday, Santa Fe still only had 1 lift running..

casper,
Dang you guys with your awesome ski areas and amazing storms. I want to hit up northstar soooo bad. I'll just have to settle with my awesome week long keystone/breck/A-basin road trip.:hungry:

Here are a couple of pics from today. :bravo: More will come tomorrow! And i will figure out how to post better pics, my bad!

All very good mountains! Ive enjoyed them all. Colorado is closer to you but if you head out west, check Northstar out.

Snow Pic / Hiking

I know this isn't a "wheelin" snow pic...but it's from a couple weekends ago when we had our first snow...only about an inch. :(

This is at Catoctin Mountain Park in Thurmont, MD (near Camp David). I went hiking to Wolf Rock with my "little brother", I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Frederick County, MD.

Have a happy holiday everyone! :bigok:

Sweet pic!:thumb3: Is that a good amount of snow in Miss?

Being in the center of the US our weather fluctuates quite often. It could be snowing one week and the next week the high could be 70 lol. But when it does snow, we usually get only 2-4 inches, nothing crazy.
