Decent little storm for the SW Denver metro foothills.
I really like how the Duratracs do in the white stuff and this is my 2nd winter on them.

Well, it's not very often that we get a snow here in southwest Tenn. But, we got a few inches last night so we had to get out and play this morning!!

Tested out some suspension mods... and there was snow.

Kumho KL61s work great in the snow. They have the snowflake rating. Sized 32" for me.

Here are a few pics from my recent ski trip to Keystone, CO...not much snow by Colorado's standards but still impressive to me.

We just had a HUGE snow for Huntsville yesterday. It was only 8-9 inches at my apt but some areas of town had up to 14 inches! The best part...I've got an extra 2 days vacation and counting with the roads being "too dangerous" for travel. :thumb3:

Looks like your tire pressure is really high, based on the contact patch the snow is showing.

Naa... it's just really dry snow, so it doesn't stick in the outside tread blocks. I've been keeping them at 28 psi for the winter.

With those meaty tires, what do you do in case of a flat? I didn't see a full sized spare under rear.

That tire size should fit under the 4runner in the stock location.

Most people don't want to splurge for a full sized spare tire to match their other 4 tires though.

Also, it may fit, but it'll eat away at some of the 3rd gen's almost 10" ground clearance.

How would it "eat away at ground clearance"? It's the same width as the stock tire size, so it wouldn't matter.

There is a 265/75R16 BFG A/T KO under there.....

You're right. Those didn't look like stock rims.

Started snowing in town the other day so we headed out to play in the hills, but as I was driving up the hill heading out of town you could see the temperature rising on the display. So instead of snow we were out in the rain, which caused the snow packed roads to turn into the slickest ice....evar. At one point we were sliding along and there must have been angels watching over me cause miraculously we didn't go over the edge and die. Anyways, took a couple pictures in the rainy snow

Have about 10 inches in STL right now. All i can say is WOW. This truck makes it seem like a warm summer day. Didnt even break my tire loose!! Cant say the same for my Pathfinder I traded for the 4runner. Sorry for the EVO pics.
