I love the outdoors, main reason to live in Colorado!! Love me some 4runner but my other half doesn't like to hear it even though I got one for him. Hell I love my Runner so much I named my cat Hilux (I know Hilux is for the Taco but adding Surf to the name was to much)

I wish there were more girls like you, I need to get into some other hobbies so I'm able to talk about something other than trucks on dates haha. And I might have to steal Hilux as a name, that sounds pretty legit actually!

I use to be a facebook junkie until I found T4R.ORG……I haven't been the same since. I am on here til I have a pounding headache after going through 500 pages of pictures :bowl:….but hey I have something in common with everyone on here that I don't have at home. I have always been "one of the guys" girls are too much drama :blabla: I just don't want to be called a guy hehe. Hilux is free for the taking!!

I have never had my engine temp increase from the normal half way mark, 100 degree weather, rock crawling, snow wheeling, floored passing someone, she never moves! My jeep buddies don't believe me though

Got tired of the rain in Vancouver so we decided to take a trip into them thar hills...a few sketchy spots on the way up. Including finding a Mazda 5 stupid crossover running summer tires WAY past where he should have been. Tourists. Found a sweet spot near the top with a wicked unobstructed view of the Fraser Valley, these pics are looking west towards Chilliwack. Beautiful sunset, warm fire, surrounded by the Yota family, couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday evening.

We got about 7" here in Eugene Or. Of course like any other red blooded young male I went snow drifting with friends. Heres a few videos my friend took with his go pro.

Went snow wheeling today, maybe 8" at the start of the trail and over 24" where we turned around.

The other day it snowed a little bit on campus, and it was wicked slick so my buddies and I took the 4Runner to a parking lot and did donuts and drifted around, first time I've ever actually did a donut with the 4Runner. After that, I honestly don't know how people with 2WDs can do anything in the winter. It was like this horrible combination of either slipping around with no traction and you could barely get moving once stopped, or put it in AWD or 4WD and then you can drive anywhere but barely slip around and a lot harder to spin the truck (course you could drift since the front wheels would pull you if you could throw the back out).

Like even if I legitimately tried to go where I wanted in 2WD it was so difficult and half the time I just spun around, though granted that was my first time driving a/in 2WD on snow/ice; course I also have a lot more confidence in the trucks abilities in AWD or 4WD since it was so slick but the truck just went where I wanted (under 20mph that is)

Ya, I was extremely impressed by the 4runner and my duratracs. I could hardly get it to slide in 4wd, even when I slammed on the brakes. It was fun and scary to watch other cars slide around. I just sat by an overpass and watched busses and cars slide into curbs and other cars.

Christmas Tree Run again this year. Couple feet of crappy dry snow on top of spring condition snow. Still an awesome day of wheeling.

I used to live in Breckenrige so I know how it goes. I really miss the early season snow and the amount that comes when it does. You're right, we should be getting some tomorrow.
