Well basically, the throttle response on the 4Runner is terrible and makes it feel like a slow and heavy pig.

But from what I understand, it boosts the signal to the throttle body, which in turn gives it more throttle response. It doesn't add any horsepower at all, just increase throttle response. It was truly a huge improvement.

its a simple plug and play harness that installs in under 15-30 minutes depending on how OCD you are about cable management. I'm pretty OCD about keeping things nice and neat and clean, so it took me about 20 minutes.

No issues with a warranty but just incase you were concerned with that, you could actually remove it anytime you went to the dealer. It installs in and out that easy.

It was definitely worth the cost! I went from hating my 4Runner and wanting to sale it, to being very content with it and planning to keep it for a while. This is my 3rd 4Runner, I had a 3rd and 4th gen as well and I HATED this one until I installed the sprint booster.

Congrats on your sweet new TRD pro. I just purchase mine about 3 months ago. It's absolutely a joy to drive. I've notice that your 2020 exhaust pipe is piped behind your rear wheel. Did it come from the factory like that. My 2019 TRD pro goes straight back and ends under my bumper. That green color looks great too.

2020 model year TRD Pro has an exhaust change... It's different from the cat back, different exhaust note, and exits behind passenger rear mud flap.

Question for those coming from a 19 or under to a 20 pro. Just wondering what you think of the JBL system. I know its better than my 19 orp premium sound package but forsure not high end!
I trick I learned today. Sign up for a free trial of amazon HD music and the sound on the JBL is night and day and almost enough to make me think of not upgrading!
Amazon HD puts out 50% better sound than Tidal, better than CD and is leap years over Spotify and google music (sound quality)

I just picked mine up yesterday. Loving it so far. Playing with the JBL system I think it sounds good. I’m not ripping it out for a new system. Done that so many times. Not crazy about roof rack yet. Wife like it. I will give it some time to see if I’m pulling it off. Running boards coming off and selling them. Putting my bars on from my 17 Pro. She’s in the garage tucked away for now.

Congrats! That was a good find. I was shopping 21st - 23rd and couldn't find AG within 500 miles of my house. Bloomington is a 2 hr ride for me! I just settled on a gray pro

Anyone keeping Nittos for the winter!?

For my ‘17 I took them off and put Nokian Hakka right away. For my 2020 I kept them on and drove yesterday during snow.

Traction came on a lot in 2WD but if I’m gentle with a throttle it was great. As soon as I switched to 4WD it was perfection.

I just tossed my OEM NittoTerra Grapplers today, didnt like the wandering and the wet traction when cornering. Switched to the Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain AT, 265/70R17 in SL load.

Will report back next year after I break them in. Slight hum on freeway now but they are brand new, may get louder later. Otherwise, they feel excellent in wet so far, i.e. better than OEMs.

Yikes, I'm reading online and watching videos opposite so far everywhere else. Guess I have to try and find out then, but it will be later in season as next week my Micheline XI2's swap in. I knew no matter what the AT's of any kind (even 3PKSF) suck on ice and hard pack compared to a true winter. If they suck within 30 days, i can get replace with my original idea of purchasing Nitto Ridge Grapplers :shrug:

Can't find a tool good enough for everything, that's why I have winter set + rest of year.

Just got the new SCS BR6's put on. I love the wheels but I may end up going with a slightly more aggressive tire. Guess we'll see. Can't wait to get rid of this god awful roof rack though.

Looks beautiful, I was torn between your RG and the new UT, decided to be a guinea pig and try the UT and give reports later. RG's were definitely what I was wanting when I went out to buy tires.

Did you get in on the group buy for the Gobi stealth rack? Mine is allegedly due in February 2020.
