I'll be driving down as well. But I know they don't have the tent I wanted, so I'd like to be able to just get a regular tan Shasta Skygazer if I can... None of the summit series tents have awnings or the ability to install them...

Pretty sure the Summit Shasta I am ordering has the annex. Did you look at the extended series or the standard series???

Bobby has confirmed as of today that the first batch of tents came in without a zipper so an annex isn't included with those particular tents.
That issue has been corrected at the factory and from this point on all of the tents - regardless of color - will include an annex if it is listed as being included on that particular model

Yes I know, but that doesn't help those of us on the group buy... Anyone who wanted a anex with a summit series is SOL...

Noooo....there was a small batch that had a mix up. There are more summit models being made and will be available for the GB that will include the annex.
