Bad news for me, tore my lumbar muscles and glutes n hips, long story short, over worked muscles plus a accident equals muscle damage. couldnt move for a week, back to walking now, will be back in the gym by the end of this month. be safe guys and listen to your body.

My advice TRD, make a food plan! Working out is the easy part- MAKE A FOOD PLAN!

Prepare your meals days ahead. If you wake up without knowing what you're going to eat, you're in trouble.

this ^

failing to prepare is preparing to fail. do what i do. spend your whole sunday cooking. i let 4-5lbs chicken sit in the crock pot for 4-6hrs. while thats cooking im getting my eggs ready, veggies, sweet potatoes and all of my other food for the week. get a scale cause youll need to weigh it.
eating clean is CHEAP!! i go to sprouts (hopefully you have one) and can usually get skinless/boneless chicken breast for $2.49/lb. sweet potatoes are usually $1/lb. eggs are $4/dozen (free range) veggies are cheap you can even do frozen if fresh is too much 'work'. whole grain bread $4/loaf. PB $4/jar. depending on your goals you could be at around $15-20/day for 5 meals where as protein shakes will cost you $2-3/shake.

Sorry to hear that man. Hope things work out for you!

I'm slowly getting back at it, but still lifting pretty light. Due to the link below, I now have a lifting partner...
Healthy Kids Act - Iowa Department of Education

I have a real problem with the state and school telling me how many minutes my kid should exercise, but he wants to lift anyway and now he'll be able to meet his "30 minutes a day" requirement.

Hey lefty, do you put anything with your "crocked" chicken, to give it some flavor?

i do. usually just bbq sauce so they are fully covered. one full bottle usually (drain it later cause its gross) and some brown sugar for a little more flavor. the last 30 or so mins i shred the chicken and put in white or green onions too.
a friend of mine uses chicken broth and ranch dressing packets turns out great but i cant seem to replicate it.
ive found the chicken shreds better on low heat than high heat. so i try to never use high heat to cook

I love leg day.. but I can see why you no likey no more

i hate legs, i dont do them.

i can bench probably 100 lbs more than i can squat. and im ok with it :D
also as far as diet goes, i don't eat any meat (never have in my life) so its hard to come by protein some times. I've been known to eat 6 eggs in one sitting
in that vein, raw egg whites!!! get the liquid ones, mix them into everything. your coffee, your soda, your beer, whatever. You don't taste them at all.

and who doesn't love healthy beer?

i use to hate legs back in middle school, just because it's hard and it tires you out so much. but later when i looked into the whole bioenergetic aspect of it legs is the foundation of the body so i bit my lip and started doing legs, later found out my legs are pretty strong so now i like doing them, also i feel really really high after a good leg day idk why.

lol one of the biggest bulking meal i had was 2lbs of ground lean turkey with 6 whole eggs and 22 egg whites. with a whole can of beans for sides.

Little injury update for me.
so my back and glutes don't really hurt anymore, but it feels different. it feels like they are really loose and weak. also i still can't bend over all the way and my stabilizer muscles feel kinda messed up. to sum it up my muscles feel like it's all bundles up and it's not operating smoothly.
i've tried acupuncture, deep tissue massage, foam rolling, ball rolling, stretching. they all feel kinda good at first but the symptoms comes back after a while.

most people who started doing them end up loving it, also chicks digs striated, solid, strong legs. you would not believe the amount of dick gazing girls give me when i do heavy squats in the gym. i even had some girls come up to me after to have me watch them squat and critique forms

that is a lotta volume man! good work tho. to gain some mass on chest i would ditch all cable related machines, and go for plate loaded ones if you have them. or even better free weights.

There are 2 cable related machines that i love using on my chest. But can you tell me/show me (youtube?) some free weight chest exercises?

there is 3 angles for presses and flys for chest: Incline, Decline and Flat.
incline for pac minor(upper chest)

decline for pec major(lower chest)

flats for both.

you can do incline, decline and flat presses with barbell or dumbbell(these are heavy compound exercise). and flys with dumbbells or cable machines.

i usually pick 1 heavy compound press, 1 isolation(machine) press and 1 fly exercise for my chest days.

good info.
i do cable flys cause i have a jacked elbow so free weights are hard on it but all other chest are done with free weights. usually i am solo, no spotter means no bar weights for me unless on smith machine. dbells for all of it.

whats your take on the hammer machines? they are isolation exercises but i usually feel a good burn in the chestal region afterwards
