Next week is the hardest; at least for me it was. How you liking it?

I like it a lot. It's definitely a good workout. It's just a big jump each week in weight. I knew the next week would be tough. It's getting up there in weight, especially more than I have ever done. Before last year I never did deadlifts.

I suffered a severe shoulder dislocation about 2 years ago in a police department defensive tactics training incident. Resulted in 25% permanent bone loss, torn rotor cuff and labrum. had two surgery's and they want to do a third which I have been holding off on.

I hear you on the shoulder. I dislocated my right shoulder and tore the labrum when I played college rugby. Never been the same since. I'm probably going to see an orthopedic surgeon soon as it's getting worse.

And I hate to tell you but it never will be 100%. dont get me wrong, Ive made huge progress and im way past where I ever thought i can be again. Ive learned to live with it. because of the injury, the recurring pain, stiffness and joint weakness is there. And mentally at least for me im always afraid of pushing my luck to far with it and tearing it out again. The recovery process for me was terrible.

Ive seen several orthopedic surgeons before I stayed with the one im using now.
He is in NYC and does the NY rangers and the NY giants. All the other doctors referred me to him and so im assuming he knows what hes doing. He told me I will inevitably need a complete shoulder replacement, but as of now they only last about 20 years or so. And being only 26 it is still being looked at as an absolute last option. Right now they want to do a "Laterjet" and fuse bone back to see if it strengthens and stabilizes. And ive made decent progress to this point, im extremely hesitant to have them open it back up and mess with anything.

About how many calories a day do you consume?
I have no idea how many I eat.

Ugh, all this talk about food, now I'm hungry....

2200-2500 when im cutting. 4000-7000 when I eat to my heart's desire

Man, that's a lot of calories.

I started some new supps and man, are they making my workouts pretty easy.

I'm liking the extra fullness, but it's not helping to lose weight right now...

I need to get some more BCAA and pre workout, c4 is on sale in costco but I tried it once and it was meh

Yeah I'm clear on that. I know I at least have a torn labrum from that partial dislocation. It's holding me back a lot right now. I know I can push myself and do more weight but the instability and pain in my shoulder is holding me back. I figure anything would be better then where I'm at now, mainly just to gain stability in the joint.

Benching just 205lb was very painful today.

I haven't really noticed much from the C4 I'm taking now either.

Just go slow, theres no rush, build all the supporting muscles around your shoulder that you can a little at a time. Take a joint health supplement.

As far as pre workout sups go..

Anything Jim Stoppani Says... do it..

Pre Jym

pro Complex or Whey Gold

Post Jym
