Good man. :thumb: I've always said that squats and deadlifts can cure cancer.

I didn't start deadlifting heaving til a year ago and Its almost a favorite, with good form of course, if its too heavy I wont keep trying to pull up if my back starts to tweak, I see too many people try to do that, no good!

I'm so annoyed at my bench.
I can't seem to get past this routine:
95x10
105x10
Than I get stuck at 115, I can't get more than 6 in there for the life of me!

This is so frustrating :gun4:

whats your eating routine look like..

i try to remember this, " you can't out-train nutrition"

if you're not eating enough, you can't get bigger or stronger , for the most part.

Is this dumbell or barbell?

I had a good bench week, maxed with my buddy to see if we thought we could do the bench competition at out school. I hit 240 at 162 BW then did 175x8 for 3 sets and 155x10 for 1. Gonna move back toward doing barbell a bit since I've been stuck at 80-85's for DB 5x5.

Sounds like a deload is in order. Have you ever tried a 5x5 workout? Good for making solid gains in strength.

Found a link for a good one:

I heard this from my a buddy of mine, bulgarian method is what it's called..

This is part of the issue, I need a work out buddy.. I usually train solo

do you track your calories and macros? They say you're usually eating less or more than you think, I have had trouble at times with the same thing and also putting on weight. They say when you're having these types of issues the first place you should look is at your nutrition.

I dont track :behindsofa:

When you say nutrition, are you referring to caloric intake in general, or lack of protein.

I find tracking cumbersome and not so motivating. Not saying that's right, im just lazy.

DannyLlama gotta keep track if you want results. either counting calories or protein/carb/fat intake. i count all of my food so i can get the results i want (very low body fat%) i stick to it about 90% of the time. sometimes its a PIA but when seeing the results it makes it worth it

both calories and macros(fats,protein,carbs)

i also dont really like keeping count. I usually eat very similar every day, so i know about how much im intaking.

i would encourage you to at least count them for a couple days.

find out your bmi and see if your eating enough.

I noticed that once I tracked for about 2-3 weeks, I was able to have a pretty good idea of where I needed to be, and was able to stop physically keeping track.

That said, if I were competing or something, I would keep a log. However, just trying to stay solid and keep my bf around 10%, my mental counting is enough.

i do the same as A.Wilson013 i dont log anything any more. just plan my meals and know what i need through out the day.

been out the gym for a couple weeks.. hurt my ribs, or the muscles or tendons or whatever.. i miss the gym.. :smow:

Nothing motivate you more than looking at your old pictures.

Very nice man! 2 years is a good time frame to look back on?
I've been hitting the gym for about 6 months now, actively.

BTW- Took my first scoop of Xtend yesterday... WoW, that stuff is magic. Anyone who hasn't tried it, give it a shot. Was able to push much more through out my work out with less muscle fatigue.

Did back and arms yesterday and was able to curl Bar @ 70LBS for my last set x7. YIPEEEE
