A couple months back at one of these meet ups I was talking to the guy with the Montero, he mentioned he was looking for a 3rd gen.
I have a 2000 Diff Locked Sport for sale and if was still looking i could either bring that one or find someone to take that one down from Valley Village (North Hollywood area)
I know its short notice but here is the Craigslist listing if he wanted to take a quick look

Prepping for a trip next week and I'm not even sure the 4runner will be mobile by Tuesday. Got a flat tire and steering rack issues that I'm dealing with right now. haha.

I would say Corral Canyon. An hour to get there, wheel for a couple of hours, and then lunch in Pine Valley. Check out post #44 in my build thread.

Corral Canyon for sure but the runs I think are either super easy fire road or moderate /difficult ie sidwinder or gunslinger. Went out to Otay mountain the other day with [MENTION=68308]phqduphead[/MENTION] and [MENTION=5540]NC 4Runner[/MENTION] and had a good time. It was about 35 minutes from my place (North Park) and was more than just fire roads but probably any stock 4x4 could do. Plenty of water/mud a very Steep down hill a rocky stretch, some deep ruts ext. I’d be in to going out again for sure.

I just moved to North Park in Nov. I have a Stock 2015 Trail. If you ever go on some easier stuff on weekends Id be interested in accompanying if I won't be slowing ya down too much.
