thats true also but i know a few 4x4 guys who take that emblem off bc they dont like the look of it.

Your runner is looking good. as for the 2wd thing I noticed it in the last pic of post #17. I live in Southern Ca. and am always looking for CV's as there are sooo many 2wd 4runners and Tacoma's around here. Everyday I see scores of lifted everything's 2wd here.

awesome man! i bet you get a bid 'ol smile every time you walk out to your rig and start it up now! i really like the arb bumper and the double din full screen player, i pretty much have the same set up but with a different deck and couldn't be happier, i'm sure your gonna love this and it'll grow on you more and more every day.

lol ya izzard, i had a pretty big smile before and now with those added i have a huge ol' smile! haha but ya so im gonna go pick up some Hella 500FFs today and install them bc i think thats wat's missing on the bumper.
To me without lights it looks naked bc im so used to having so many. My friend said the same, he was like woah no lights makes it look weird bc im used to seeing ur rig and it looking like a UFO at night with all the lights! haha

haha, totally agree with that you should go to the dealership and pick up a factory switch for the hellas, that way when people look at the knock outs to the left of the steering wheel it all looks factory, i think the switch is only $12-17 and kinda worth it imo just to keep the stock look on the inside, but hey thats me and i know i wouldn't spend the money on a switch if i didn't have the extra cash kicking around. but if you got it why not eh?

ok so i had my old lights (both sets) on black rectangular switches and i just drilled holes and filed down the inserts so it looks close to factory already but im gonna end up using them for the roof rack lights since i still havent had a whole day to work on wiring them up.
My plan, which i have yet to see it on/talked about by anyone else is im going to splice my factory fog light wiring and use that switch for my Hellas... I figured it would make it basically stealth looking and the switch would still serve a purpose. Also it helps so i dont have to drill/cut a slot for another switch and the lights will turn off with the ignition so i dont have to worry about it draining my batt. (yes i know i can use a relay but this is free)
Ill get a pick up of how my switches are set right now bc i dont ahve any more space with the 2 light switches and a kill switch for my subs.

UPDATE: ok well i picked up a set of Hella 500FFs after class and since i had the day off i decided to install them to complete the look i wanted with the bull bar... The lights are run off of the factory fog light switch only illuminates when the i have the corner lights on and headlights on. I have done the independent fog light mod so they will stay on with high beams and turn off with the ignition.
