Offroad Trails near Broken Bow Lake

Back over Easter weekend I did an exploratory trip to the Ouachita National Forest around broken Bow Lake. I wanted to see what the trails were like and if I could find a camping spot on the lakeshore. I was unable to find one but the trails are decent. I didn't find anything too difficult but I did find plenty of trails that are great for stock 4x4's. I mostly stayed between 259 and the lake. one of the trails I went on was the Holly Mountain trail. It had a pretty epic view of the lake near the end.

I talked to some guys on another forum and I think I found a couple decent areas on the East side of the lake where I could camp on the lakeshore. I will definitely go back to check those out.

Here are the trails that I explored if anyone is interested. The green and yellow routes to the south ended at a powerline trail. I turned around because it look to be getting a little more dificult than I was willing to try on a solo trip.

To the north I started on the holly mountain trail (farthest north) then later cut down to the south and did a trail that ran parallel to it. I also marked camping sites I came across.

That probably was me. I didn't know Gaia automatically made my GPS tracks public, I thought I had to do that manually.
