Oil dipstick tube for V8 no longer available?

I've been wanting to replace the oil dipstick tube on my '04 V8 4runner.
I tried to order one from a dealer and he confirmed that part # 11452-50160 is the one I need but it's been discontinued. A web search yields nothing, not even on Ebay.
Any suggestions?

Try 11452-50190. Seems that’s the number the other 2uz-fe’s went to.

The 11452-50190 is for the '06 thru '09. I know that because I bought one a while back but like an idiot I didn't verify the fit until after the window for returning it was closed so now I'm stuck with it.
That 11452-50190 tube is about an inch or so shorter & the bracket is all wrong.

Make the V6 tube fit your engine, mod the bracket or whatever you have to do and then recalibrate your dipstick.

I may have to do that. My old ones not leaking oil-yet. But it's gotten so corroded I'm getting a bit nervous leaving it as it is.

11452-50190 is for the V8. It’s the same part # for the gx470.

11452-31030 is for the 4.0L 4runner and FJ.

Call a bone yard and have them do a search. They use a national database to source parts they dont have. On ebay, look for your v8 truck being parted out and contact them. They dont always list everything they scrounge from the vehicles, but can pull one if you ask. It would be included with the engine but they sometimes have blown motors to part out. Also look for other trucks using the same engine. Dont limit it to just 4runners

I been searching Ebay. Didn't think of the junk yard. that will be next.

Seems to be too cheap a part to list on car-part or sell on ebay. I have heard the people below are good for parts and seeing they are in the South it should be mostly rust free.

I'm running that tube on my 03 V8.

Yes, it's slightly shorter and yes, you have to cut and reweld the bracket to get it to fit in the stock location.

But it works and doesn't leak oil at all. Just dimple the new dipstick about 1/2-3/4" above the factory high dimple on the new one. Use your old one as a gauge.

Great, that's real good to know. Did you cut the bracket off the new dipstick tube, turn it around & reweld it on or did you just weld the new tube to the old bracket?

Cut and rewelded the existing bracket. I didn't have the original dipstick any longer as it had been re-bent as part of my failed attempt at doing headers. I sold the headers and included the original dipstick and tube with them.

After spending a couple days digging it seems that the 11452-50160 is for the '03 &'04 V8's.
The 11452-50190 is for the '06 thru '09 V8's

For the '05, it depends on who you ask. :frusty:

If you get the tube that's available and the matching dip stick you should be good.
