Oil drain plug crush washer

I just bought 10 crush washer from the dealer, 90430-12031 , did not know its 1.70 each, paid 18.49 out the door after tax. Looks like ill be buying off ebay again. Got a free bag of gummy worms tho. Think he forgot to charge me.

Whoa!! For crush washers? I think they only charge me something like 60 cents. They've thrown them in sometimes (Conicelli Toyota, I live 10 min from them). come to think it, they are rubber, not crush washers. Anyway, Honda charges something like 90 cents, again, sometimes the guy at the desk just gives them to me. I buy my stuff, take some coffee from the waiting area, take a newspaper (when/if available) and I'm out the door!

Same here, never bought a washer for oil plug but have for the transfer case and diffs

Any aluminum washer of correct size will work fine.

I order my filters by the case, and they come with a new drain plug washer for each filter. I don't necessarily change the washer every time. If the 'old' one looks good, I use it again.

Doesn anyone know the ID/OD of the Crush Washers? I'm wondering if good-old Ace Hardware would have the same size? I usually try and avoid going to the Toyota Stealership.
