Ya know, as much as I like to modify things to suit my needs, I think anyone that messes with the factory designed oil filter and it's companion parts is just plain foolish.
Lots of thought went into the design, believe it or not, and most of those thoughts had to do with engine longevity and oiling efficiency. Obviously the main design goal was not to make the filter change super easy.
It's a pain, yes, and I'm not a huge fan if it either. It's not that hard though, so you;
a: Get over it and change the oil yourself.
b: Pay someone else and check their work.
c: Buy something else.
