Oil pressure and r150f temp gauge

I have a question, about two gauges that I might want to install. I know for the oil pressure there are few ports on the side of the engine next to the oil filter where you can tap into and install the sensor. Do you guys recommend any small good reliable sensor for oil pressure ? I know they have those sensors thY screw on the oil filter. But it looks to much cheap haha.

Another question is. I have r150f 5 speed tranny. Any way to install a temp gauge for tranny? Ive tried looking but I only find for auto. And people seem to tap into the oil lines and use t-fitting. The r150f uses gear oil. So no pink milkshake.

I have never heard of a temp sensor for a manual transmission. Being gear driven it should hardly get warm much less hot. Next time you drive it for a while climb under and put your hand on the case and see how hot it gets. If you do try to put a sensor on it the sensor would have to be near the drain plug so it would be in the oil at all times

Why would you want to install a temp gauge on a manual tranny?

Good valid points. Never thought of it like it that. Main reasons for a tranny temp gauge when wheeling. Let's say your slamming from 1 to reverse when stuck. Or when jn low4. The gearing is different. So would be nice to see how the tranny is doing. But I'm guessing you'd have to tap into the tranny ? If can you use the drain plug ?

Whats a good gauge beside oil pressure thatz not to hard to Install

Boost gauge. Easy to install but might be a bit more effort to get it to work correctly

You would be better off having a temperature sensor at your clutch (and I'm not saying to do that). Your manual generates essentially no heat, don't worry about it.

And I think bro dude above is saying use a boost gauge to measure oil pressure.

Actually I was having some fun and telling kolelt to put a boost gauge in and then do what you have to (turbocharger, supercharger) to make it work. I have an ultra gauge in mine and it has pretty much all I need. There is an oil pressure sending unit in ours for the oil light but i don't know if it will read actual pressure. By the way snivilous, I have been surfing for 35 years so I guess I really am a bro dude
