Oil spec question

Guys I have question on oil. It is hard to find API SL grade oil in Armenia, I fould API CF and API SM oil specs. Toyota manual asks for SL, what if I sabstitude with SM spec oil? Grade is ok, 5-30 Valvoline Syntetic.

SM is fine, just change it once in a while (like every 3-6 months).

SM is fine, it's one standard newer. Somewhere your literature will say SL or higher.

as others have stated...SM is the newer standard. it might not be better, but its newer.
