Wow, I haven't posted to this thread in a while!
Not too terribly much going on with the build lately. Got my BudBuilt Aluminum mid skid installed and tcase skid ordered, and picked up a set of AllPro uniball UCA's during the group buy we had a week or two ago.
Mostly been working on storage solutions and figuring out how to get all the big, heavy stuff secured. Here's what I've done so far:
The main compartment is 40x32" and built out of 3/4" Birch and painted with a hammered black finish. That's where all the tools, winter survival gear, radio gear, first aid kit and extra fluids go. The latch is a standard spring loaded paddle design with a decent lock on it, and the drawer sliders are a 24" heavy duty design that can handle ~200lbs.
The Powertank brace is secured with two M6 bolts and nyloc nuts. I just drilled out a few holes to bolt the fire extinguisher mount on there as well.
The boxes are Frontrunner Wolfpack's and contain my recovery gear and camp gear. They're kept in place with the bookend braces from Frontrunner, which are all bolted down M8 nyloc hardware and counter sunk into the bottom of the drawer top so they don't get snagged on whatever's inside. The cargo rings that come with the braces are pretty cool, since they serve to secure the brace on an M8 bolt as well as securing the boxes.

Still left to do: 24" platform on the driver's side to secure my YETI cooler and portable grill. The platform will be sightly raised to accommodate a slide out tray for said grill. Then it should be done!
