Old Man Emu?

any and all input is welcome. i am getting ready for some new suspension...hopefully old man emu. should i run the heavy duty? also am thinking about running their torsion bars. any thoughts? good, bad, any regrets? pictures of before and after would be awesome.

I installed the medium duty rear springs on mine and they are stiff. If you are planning on loading up the rear and/or towing, the heavy duty is what you want. But if it's a dd and do some wheeling, go with the medium duty springs. I didn't do the torsion bar though. Just the springs and shocks.

how much lift did the springs give? any lift up front?

I did the med coils also. Waiting for my shocks to come. The shocks won't give you any lift in front. You would need bj spacers to get lift up front. i like the way mine looks with just the back lifted a bit. Heres a pic uf mine with just the coils in back, its sits pretty level now.

I'd say my height looks just like 94Runner's pic above. My rear end was sagging pretty bad. But the OME shocks and springs leveled everything out. I must have lifted a little. My mechanic said they should have charged me more labor because it lifted the truck.

I'm thinking of getting the medium rate springs and I'm hoping that with a good amount of gear in the back there won't be too much rake. Thanks
