Is there anyone out there that has instilled one of these that might help with the wiring of this? Looking to see where the 3 wires are to be placed. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Check your PMs. I try to check in when possible.

Hi Old Red, I recently got to see a friends Accessory Meter display in person and wanted to see if you're thinking about another harness group buy? Would love to be at the top of that list if possible!

Thanks and all the best

Hello OLD RED,

I would love to see if your still doing the Accessory Meter Display harness. Would love to buy one from you if your still doing it.

Thanks

Old Red - Does this mod still not work with the Limited (2020)? Thanks.

Anyone ever come up with an aftermarket clock/compass combo that may work in that spot instead of just a clock?

Hey all, just bought a TRD offroad this weekend, so I'm a new member here. Traded a 2006 TJ Rubicon w/ Banks Turbo on 35s and King Suspension for it. I've got some big plans for this thing.

To the questions...

Has anyone heard back from Old Red through PMs? And if so, is he still interested in making these harnesses? Or did he have any left from the last group buy?

Lastly, does anyone know how many "Replies" are required before my account will let me PM someone? I'd reach out to him directly if my account would let me. I dont to spit out some random non-sense for a while to meet the quota so I can PM him, and it will be a while before I know enough to be a quality contributor.

Hi folks,

Based on what has happened with my threads on this site, I am not producing any harnesses at the moment because of that and time constraints. I am prototyping some new stuff and making some revisions to old stuff, but until I decide and figure out if and how I will be sharing my information on mods, no harnesses will be made. Please do not PM asking to purchase a harness or if I have any left. If that changes I will let people know. Thank you for understanding.

Anyone know if these Harnesses still work with the updated instrument panel and console in the 2020 4runner?

I'm considering getting a 2021 early next year and would like to remove the upgraded accessory panel and harness, from my present TRDOR reinstall the original clock and install the upgraded display and harness in a different vehicle.

I realize the 2021 could be different from a 2020, but I don't figure it's very likely. Any input about the 2020 model would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Derek

Not to vulture here, but I would buy your accessory meter and harness in a second if it can't make the transition to the '21.

A small way to offset the cost of the new rig?

From what I understand the 2020 electrical system has significant changes from the previous model years. And the Old Red accessory meter mod could not be implemented as previously done. This would apply to 2021 also. I’d suggest you convert back to the OEM meter before selling your 4R and hold on to the 2014 meter. It won’t hurt to wait a while for Old Red to decide if and when he’ll return to this or another site. If you’re in need of cash you could always sell it. It’s a rare expensive item that may be getting hard to find.

Hey Old Red, I just barely found out about the accessory display and saw that you posted back in August of last year. I was wondering if you have the time to possibly put a harness together or if you have any write ups that myself and my mechanic would be able to follow and do ourselves?
