OME lift kit

I currently have 3/2 cornfed lift kit w/ 285 75 16 and it rubs like crazy even after cutting inner plastics. I'm not too worried about rubbing in the front plastic but the back since it's the body.
So now i'm looking into getting full suspension.

I called wheeleroffroad and he said to use OME885 w/ additional 5/8 spacer.

It's that going to be too high? I have a V6 and according to slee offroad, it says to use just 884 coils, giving it about 3" lift

what will be a good setup without rubbing on these tires. I have 4.5 backspacing on AR wheels.

Slee Offroad 3" lift
Front
2 x OME884 Front Coil Springs
(use OME885 for v8 Trucks)
2 x N140S Front Struts

Rear
2 X N141 Shocks
2 X OME895 Springs
(use OME896 for extra heavy rear accessories)

Slee recommendation is 884 for front coils, 885's for V8.
when you mean too harsh for a V6 without a bumper or winch, do you mean or think it will be the same ride as a spacer lift?

I'm thinking if I put the 885 coils, it will give me a true 3" lift. I can't imagine how harsh it can be.

Does anyone have 885 coil on a V6 without bumper or winch?

I had the 885 coils on the front on my V6 for a couple months before I got my Shrockworks bumper. I didn't have any problem with the ride.

cool...that's what I wanted to hear..haha...
what size tires do you have jbs? just wondering if the lift will clear 285 75 16 without rubbing alot...

3"/2" will not solve the rubbing issues with the 285s. You will still experience rubbing with compression and possibly when turning.

Like I mentioned on toyota120.com, if you end up wanting the 885s, we can work something out ... but if you're going with OME, I'd recommend the 884s simply because of the fact that you have a V6 without a bumper or winch. The 885s were relatively stiff on my V8 without a bumper.
