So the way it worked out for me was my 2012 Trail had some serious sag even with a leveling kit. Nose dive was horrendous with the Shrockworks front bumper and 12k winch. Since I pull a trailer frequently and will add a rear bumper eventually, I opted for the heavy 889 rear coils. I rode around like that for several months before I got to finish the project. And interestingly enough those springs added considerable rake back and virtually eliminated nose dive.
Anyway I got OME 90021 shocks and went with the heaviest 888 fronts. ARBUSA recommend the 887 for my application, but since I got the 888’s for almost nothing… I decided that I could live with an extra 5mm up front.
So far, I’m glad I did. At first it sat somewhat level then I also added steel sliders, steel gas tank skid, and all AL skids up front. Now rake is very close to stock. Front lift is settled to about 2.5” lift and just over 3” in rear. Ride is much improved too: stout but comfortable and the almost pleasant when loaded down. Probably would be more so if I had P and not high pressure E rated tires. A steel rear bumper is still on the todo list but I don’t think that’ll make much difference as I won’t hang a spare on it.
Anyway all that is just fwiw info, you’ll enjoy your choice, I’m sure. For comparison sake Here is a pic of the springs post-armor empty, and a pic pre-armor fully loaded… at the end of a trail I had no business doing without armor. But that’s another story.
