One of those weird noise questions

I have a 4wd 96 limited with 125k so you know what I'm dealing with.

Recently installed....light racing UCAs, new front shocks and springs, LBJs, tie rods (inner and outer)

Sounds a bit like a plastic fan hitting something but ive changed my fan speed several times with no change in noise.

It only happens at speeds over 40mph and is coming from the passenger side floor area. I checked the glove box and the pocket on the door to make sure its not something rattling around in there.

I thought it may be the shock rattling around but its tight, also checked the top nut on the upper control arms since I recently read that light racing revised their torque spec from 120 ft/lbs to 150.

I'm going to be changing the front springs out next week so I can eliminate it at that point

Any ideas? Wheel bearing?

Check your belt to the AC compressor. The clutch in my AC went bad and it made a strange noise similar to that and it came from the passenger side (obviously the same area you're hearing the noise). Replaced the Compressor and I no longer have any noise. It should be pretty obvious. Try turning your AC on and off.

It made the noise when your AC was off too?

Could it be that something got caught in the blower fan? Its located behind the glove box. I had the air on circulating the cabin air and the plastic from a cigarette pack got sucked up there. For months I could hear it blowing around in There. Another possability is a splash guard on the inner fender could have to been put bag and you hear it flapping against the inner fender plastics.

Yeah that fan does make noise from time to time and I really thought that was my problem at first. I have the one from my parts truck boxed up for when it goes out.

It's just odd that it only happens after I get to 40mph.
