Online parts supply?

Anyone got a good link to buy parts. None of the autoparts stores carry what I need and I can buy another 4Runner for the price the dealers want. Looking specifically for a hood latch cable and rear hatch latch mechanism. My old cable is stretched and my back hatch won't latch to the striker plate. Vehicle is a 2000 4Runner Limited. Thanks.

Without searching online, I couldn't tell you 100%....but some stuff really only is available from Toyota. Now, you can get better prices that your local dealer if you shop online and get the wholesale price.....

Hood cable was $32 and change. Rear hatch lock is over $145.

I got those prices from toyotapartsales for a 2000, so they should be correct. I would go to a salvage yard for the hatch lock, but the cable isn't that expensive. Were you expecting less that that?

The cable price is fine, but $100 for a latch is pretty high I thought.

Nelsonmd pointed out in another thread that toyotapartsales.com is the cheapest website for OEM parts. I have found he is right, on several occasions.
