I keep up with local and online salvage yards, as I'm planning a 4x4 swap on my '04 4R. I have found only ONE '03-'04 model salvaged in STL. (If anyone can help me there, post that here, too, please! 
) Anyway, I find them all across the US, but they're typically several states away. I haven't had issues finding 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 5th gens. Now, here's why I said "lol" in the title. I have now found that there are more totalled 2014 4R's closer to me than there are ANY 4th gens. What. This baffles me.
