Ontario Canada Members: Black Scooped Sport Hood and Badlands Edition Items Available

If you are near Beckwith, Ontario you may want to check this out. This guy is selling some Badlands Edition items including a Sport Hood. It was just advertised yesterday. I am in Texas and have nothing to do with this except giving you Canadian guys a heads up.

From all the ones I've seen, it was pretty much a bare bones SR5 that had color-coordinated flares, bumpers, and scooped hood. I'm pretty sure they all came with steelies instead of the five spokes. If anyone has some Canadian market brochures and documents showing the Badlands package, I'd like to see it.

The silver hood obviously makes much more sense for a Millennium Silver owner who can just bolt it on and be done. It would sort of be ashamed to cover up that beautiful paint.

I might be able to get buy an Imperial Jade Mica Sport Hood this weekend - I've been talking to the owner. I'll let you know.

There is a black Sport hood in rough condition in Winchendon, Mass at NE Auto and Truck Recyclers. Is that close to you?

There is a nice black one in better condition at D R Autoworks in Drummond, New Brunswick? Is this near you?

All of these are in reach as I frequently travel to Connecticut. How's the pricing on these? Your hood looks great and I'm glad it wasn't damaged in shipping.

I'm glad it arrived undamaged too... we used Greyhound, so that helped. We got a little lucky, but the guy I paid to pick it up from the salvage yard, box and crate it, and drop it off at Greyhound did a great job. I paid him $150 and paid $141 for shipping. The cost for shipping and handling was almost as much as the cost of the hood ($291 vs $300). This was worth it to me because these Stellar Blue Sport hoods are very rare. Fellow forum member Brent did a great job on his end in Long Beach.

Most of these Sport hoods sell at Salvage yards for between $200 and $350. Usually they are listed as "CALL FOR PRICE." Call each place and ask about condition. Before I bought mine from a salvage yard in Long Beach, California I asked them for photos. The guy I spoke to emailed 4 photos - I was satisfied and paid $300 via PayPal. These salvage yards like cash so always pay that way in person.

Shipping was too costly so the hood is still up for grabs! He is about 45-1hr drive away from Ottawa and didn't have a Greyhound nearby...

Someone find me a sport hood in BC! haha
