operating bluetooth features

i have 2012 sr5 with regular audio system an icant use bluetooth, spent few hours trying to set it up. my problem is not pairing, I can pair it just fine but I can`t switch between phone and audio playerwho can tell me how to select phone when car started up, please don`t say to use search feature because when I did I found 25 pages of irrelevant treads.shoulb be simple, I CANT FIND IT IN MANUAL.

somehow it started workingswitching between phone and music seamlessjust like it was in my previous 4 years old pioneer deh 700.

id try explaining it better but it stopped working again, damn toyota head unit, i don`t know what id do next, drive to the dealer an let them dealwith it.
