I've got a 2007 4Runner Limited with 164,000 on the clock. Just blew the engine. Everything else is good. What do you think it's worth without replacing the engine?

Figure out what one of similar age and miles is worth that does not need the engine replaced and deduct what it would cost to replace the engine.
That is your value as whole.
The parts, if parted out, may be worth more than the value as a complete unit, but there are the costs of dismantling and the time it takes to sell enough parts to equal the whole value and additional time to sell remaining parts to make a higher profit to consider.

I think it would be worth a lot less than that, because even though you may say it has no other mechanical issues, the buyer has no way of verifying this. Also, the market for non running vehicles is probably limited to wholesalers who hope to fix and flip.

Hard to say. You could list it on Ebay as an auction with a reserve set to what you think you need to get for it, then see how the auction goes.
I've bought a few vehicles before without running engines, and I usually paid about half the price of what it would be if it was running, but those were all $2500-$4000 vehicles. Probably for your 4Runner, I'd guess $4000-6000 maybe?
How did it blow? Do you know the extent of the engine damage yet?
