Opinions? '00 4x4 Sport

Hope I'm not posting in wrong section. Found this online. What you all think? KBB lists as $8,350. Thinking about asking for $8,000 otd? Still seems steep for a 11 yr old truck, but Toyos do hold their value (which I've learned through all my searching for a used T4R!). Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I recently bought one just like it with 98k mi. for $10,000 cash in So Cal. No e-locker button on mine.

If you can get an 8K price, I'd call that a deal.

Looks like a good deal. These SR5 sports have pretty much everything the limiteds have (except leather in this case), but additionally have the scoop hood. I like them better than the limiteds. They also have (usually) 4.3 gears, slightly higher than the limiteds' 4.1

The limiteds have quite a few differences. We have leather and electronic seat control (not sure if the SR5's do). We also have the AWD capability, which is a huge difference IMO. Digital climate control and typically factory fog lights. Plus the limiteds have a greater chance of having 4.3 gears, as the locker is more abundant on limiteds. Plus 4.3 gears are lower than 4.1.

To the OP, looks like a clean 4runner and would be worth it at 8k. California sucks for finding a good deal. Lots of 4runners, but priced high. Good luck.

Did you call them on it? When I was looking for a 3rd Gen I swear that same place had the same one on display... Of course soon as I called it "just sold"

$10k is real steep for a 3rd gen, plus its missing a pedal and a gear

I need to call them. I read some reviews on the place and some people said the same thing, about their inventory online not actually reflecting what they have. I prefer no leather so that works out. Manual would be nice but SO rare. C'mon $8k! *fingers crossed*

It's a fair price but it wouldn't hurt to have a private mechanic give it a once over and check if the normal maintenance (timing belt) has been done,check the rear axles for leakage of the seals and any other things people might be able to add.
