Opinions/thoughts....to sell or rebuild?

Currently own a 97 SR5, 5 speed, 4wd with 355k.....it's my daily driver. Engine runs fine, 4x works fine, AC and heat work fine....no real issues at all and body is in good shape, under carriage is in good shape with little rust as it was under coated, and interior is is pretty decent shape too, minus a couple carpet stains/wear and the normal drivers seat tear on outside seem.......however she's gonna need some exhaust and a rear seal done soon and she does leak oil from the VCG and the clutch is original and it will need shocks too

...so should I sell it ...figure starting price around 2500, i take 2 k..think that's fair?



Or get a new(er) engine?

Also, pretty much everything is stock....starts every time and runs good.

To add to the mix I also will becoming into a 94 Xcab toyota truck 4wd 22RE, with 244k on it....I traded for this so it cost me very litte.

Keep 4 runner and sell truck to pay for 4 runner repairs/upgrades?
Keep truck and sell 4 runner to pay for any repairs needed or upgrades

Lastly, what ever I keep will be my DD as a work truck and I am currently shopping for a early 4th or low mileage 3rd around $6-$8k as a weekend family vehicle.

...OR sell'm all and add that $$ toward the purchase to increase my buying power

Thoughts on options, I'm kinda thinking keep truck...also

Don't HAVE to sell...however I Do want/need a differant daily driver for wife and family....and do like the idea of a truck....so leaning towards keeping 22Re truck and purchasing another 4runner to replace the one I think I will sell...?

Thanks on clutch.....it's funny what "we" take pride in....I do much of the maintinance myself but I am very proud of the fact that I still have the factory clutch with 355k!....think it's a combo of quality parts and quality driving skills.
