Damn you Wingsuit - I had finally managed to put that memory out of my mind and you just had to go and bring it up again! But hey, at least the Gators are the reigning National Champs in, um, women's gymnastics - in fact we're going for a Fourpeat this April

If it makes you feel better I also went to Georgia ... Two years ago, when Florida was terrible and beat Georgia anyway, I probably felt the way you did after the GSC game. Georgia went to overtime last time they played GSC.

That day, when a sports reporter told Nick Saban that Florida had beaten Georgia, he started laughing. Don't blame him. Hopefully it will start getting better this year. If they don't lose to Charleston Southern.

I'm from Statesboro, home of the Eagles, and I'm not really a fan. But in their interest, they are not GSC. Georgia Southern College was approved for university status in 1990. Since then the school has been Georgia Southern University. They lost the GSU status to Georgia State University because they were officially a university in 1969, 21 years prior to Georgia Southern. Currently, only old school Georgia Southern fans refer to the Eagles as GSU, such as my entire family.

Hey man, no negative intentions. Just been here almost my whole life, so it's been kinda drilled in. So much so that I don't really care for the whole deal. I actually went to Georgia Southern from 93-95, but I don't remember much of it!
