Order VIN Delivery VIN

This may not mean anything. Placed order for '14 SR5 - 4WD. I was shown the VIN number, told this unit is built, will hit port in about 3 or 4 weeks.
Four weeks later, get call, your 4Runner is in, you can pick it up today.
Go to the dealer, finalize everything, and leave. All good. Next day, sorting thru manuals, etc., checked the VIN, vs. my order VIN, not the same 4Runner.
Runs out fine, no issues. Any comments appreciated. This is not the first new 4Runner I have purchased.

My guess is they just got one in that matched your order before the other one.
Or got the VIN wrong initially.

Should be fine. I just went through the same scenario. I wanted 4WD SR5 with 3rd Row - they said 4 weeks, got a call less than 2 weeks same config and color I wanted - but different VIN. One happy camper...
