Congratulations, good choice on a model. I ordered mine in July of 2012, and a 2013 was delivered end of September - took about 11 weeks. That gives you time to check the forum and plan your mods, tires etc. and read the on-line manuals. Don't rely on the dealer to tell you how any of it works.

I ordered a 2014 Limited on Nov 9th - still have no date when it is scheduled to be built in Japan.
Good things come to those who wait - I guess...

Ordered mine 2 weeks before you... Still don't know when mine will be built either. :smow:

That's so weird. I ordered mine about three weeks ago and it got built this last Tuesday the 26th. I'm hoping to see it around Xmas. Mine is a SR5 premium with no special options. Maybe it depends on the model and the options on how fast they can build it. I don't know.

Ordered mine on Oct 26. Dealer said it would take about 30 days to hear back from Corp about a build date. That would have been right around Thanksgiving. I'll be calling next week to see if any new information has come in. They told me initially that it would be anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months for mine to come in. Dealer seemed pretty optimistic about a 2 month delivery though...so who knows. :flock:

suppose to hit dealer on 11-29, checked today, nothing. have to check Monday to see if the truck delivered.
they have a white LE on the lot since last Wednesday, but they still haven't prepped/PDI it yet. I thought it would have been delivered the same time as the white LE but it wasn't.

Great to see that I'm not the only one looking forward to a hew toy! I figure I'll get mine somewhere around late January. The only consolation is the payments wont start till I get the vehicle. As long as I get it before April 1 I can get a beach permit. That shouldn't be a problem.

I saw that as a huge perk to ordering one. I considered flying to Colorado to pick one up, but thought of financing even less was too great to pass up.

After I ordered mine, I was able to get the build sheet from the dealer before the build date. It showed the name of the ship which was the New Century 1. I used this link to track my TE 's progress from Japan to the local port.
