OTRATTW wiring diagram

I've had two OTRATTW rocker switches in my 4Runner since I bought it. When used together they disable the ABS. I was under the dash today and figured I'd like to wire them so that the switch lights come on when activated. I found this <a href="http://www.otrattw.com/wiring/J66a.pdf">Wiring Diagram</a> on their website and I have some questions.

Pins 2 & 3 have the wires going to the ABS.

Where should I connect pin 6 to have the switch lights come on with the dash lights?

Can I jump 7 & 8, or do I need positive and negative for the dash light circuit?

#3 is providing the positive for the switch lights, correct?

Any help is appreciated.

Can the upper two grounds go to any metal point, or is there an existing ground that would work in the footwell area?
And the 'power in for switch illumination' can go to any wire that's hot when the headlights are on? Any recommendations for that one?

From my experience getting my switches to light up/dim with the dash I ran the wires to the dimmer switch. I found you must run the ground and the power to the dimmer switch as there is something about it using the ground side to dim the lights I think..

From what I understand it uses the ground to dim the lights. I don’t need the lights on these switches to dim though, if there’s an easier place to tap in. I know the ash tray light can be used but it’s kind of far away.

I honestly don't know what else you could need to know...positive to green, negative to white w/green stripe.

According to this post, if I was going to use the dimmer, I would use these wires. Could I use one wire going from the power source to both switches?

The power in for the switch and the power in for the illumination can be the same power. You can daisy chain as many of these together as you like, provided you don't exceed the current carrying capacity of the wire or the switch. The same is true of the ground connection. The ground needs to provide a pathway for the current to return, so if there is a grounding point nearby, great. Likely there is not so you either need to make one or tap into an existing ground wire.
